The Falls Creek Conference Centers First Aid Station Administrator serves as the lead staff member of our First Aid Staff and Medical Teams. This position is not a Full-Time or Part-Time position. This position will be on an "as need" basis throughout the year. Below is the basic schedule...

September through April: (Thursday - Saturday, roughly once a month if requested)

3rd Week of May through 2nd Week of August: (Sunday Night through Saturday Morning)

We are looking for a reliable LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), RN (Registered Nurse), NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant), MD (Doctor), or GP (General Physician) to lead our First Aid Staff and Medical Team.

Our First Aid Station Administrator must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing different basic care needs to those who require it, while remaining patient, calm, and kind. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding.

Administrator Responsibilities

  • Supervise the First Aid Staff and Medical Team
  • Manage the First Aid Staff and Medical Team schedule
  • Oversee and track medical purchases and supplies
  • Oversee all administrative and medical records

Medical Assisting Responsibilities

  • Record a patient’s medical history accurately
  • Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
  • Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
  • Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.
  • Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, etc., clean and dress wounds, and help with other basic medical care tasks
  • Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
  • Communicate with patients’ family or friends to give advice, comfort, and release instructions

First Aid Administrator Requirements

  • Proven experience as LPN, RN, PA, NP, MD, or similar role
  • Proven experience as a supervisor/coordinator of a medical team
  • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office and data entry
  • Physical condition and stamina to provide excellent medical care extended work hours
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and able to handle stress
  • Successful completion of LPN, RN, PA, NP, and MD license program is a must
